KontakTUM Magazine

Our Alumni Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2017 edition revolves around the topic “Passionately Curious – an Issue on Innovation and Research at TUM”: New ideas and inventions, start-ups and of course the people behind them are the centre of attention. How do you come up with a new idea? What makes up an innovation? In the main interview, TUM PhD student Stephan Rohr is talking to Dr Michael Steiner, Head of Research and Technology Development at Porsche about how ideas are being developed into marketable products. Under this issue’s headline “Back to the Lecture Hall” two inventors meet: TUM PhD candidate Martin Brand and Dr Franz Lärmer, Vice President of  Robert Bosch GmbH. In “Voices of TUM” you can find out which innovations have influenced TUM alumni’s lives the most.
