 An unusual way to visit the Regensburg Cathedral

TUM alumnus Prof. Dr.-Ing. Manfred Schuller offered TUM alumni insight into a very special place of work: the Regensburg Cathedral, which the Head of the TUM Chair of Building History, Building Archaeology and Conservation had explored in the course of his research work for several years. The enthusiastic excursion participants were guided through the interior and to roof of the medieval building. read more

The research brewery in Weihenstephan

Can beer be more than just a beverage? Dr. Florian Schüll, Head of the research brewery in Weihenstephan and employee of the Chair of Brewing and Beverage Technology offered some insight to the art of brewing beer. During the excursion, the alumni got an impression of how brewing was taught since 1865 and what changes the profession of brewing has undergone since then. read more

A visit to the Foreign Office in Berlin

Alumna Dr. Regina Grienberger offered a group of TUM alumni in Berlin an exclusive tour to the Foreign Office in Berlin. On the evening before the European elections, the employee in the Europe Department explained the workflow in the Foreign Office and led the group through the architecturally interesting building. read more
